Amsterdam Coffee shop

This is the Bush Doctor in Rembrandt Plien, Amsterdam. Its my faviort coffee shop because its less than 200 feet from my hotel and the fastest place to grab a Cuppa & cigarette before heading out to muesums. I don't use pot but it is one of the very few places in the Netherlands you can still smoke tobacco legally and get damn good coffee in under two minutes!
Coffee shops like these are about to become rare if not non-existant as the conservatives try to crack down on Pot Tourism. It's not going to change the prevelance of use but it will create less tourism dollars in taxes! It will also privatize places like these into membership only clubs. Just as many states in the US are calling for legalization, The Netherlands are fighting to stay legal. The irony that Coffee Shops and " Islamic Issues" have been tied together in anti-use campaigns across Holland is not at all suprising. The association between the two is irrational but effective if you want to turn peoples fears against them. The US did something similar with our Constutional Rights.
